This is your “ME-TIME”
This evening, dine with your fellow Illuminating Women to our welcoming dinner.
Take the day to walk the beautiful sandy beach, read a book, work on your business plan, sleep in, or whatever you feel like
This is your “ME-TIME”
First stop will be at Llanos de Cortes Waterfall. Once you reach the bottom of the trail, you’ll see why it is considered to be one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful waterfalls. The falls drop into a tranquil pond with a white sandy beach that’s perfect for swimming and sunbathing. Go ‘backstage’ and relax on the rocks behind the waterfall curtain or shower beneath the lukewarm waters.
After this relaxing time, we head to La Ponderosa Preserve, where we’ll enjoy a short tractor ride (I know, cool!) through the forest and reach La Vieja Waterfall, which is approximately 20 meters high. A great spot for our Illuminating Women photo op!
After La Vieja, you will get back on board our 4×4 for for a short drive to La Perla, a little bit more than 6 meters high waterfall. La Perla waterfall is an oasis.
Relax on the sand, sunbathe and swim. Feel free to be as active as you’d like because there is a delicious lunch waiting for you after this fun and refreshing outing!
What to bring: Strap sandals, sun block, hat, sun glasses, swimming suit, extra clothing.
Included: Bottled water, lunch, bilingual guide, entrance fees and transportation.

On either a single or double sit-on-top ocean kayak, we’ll embark on a wonderful journey today through this nature lover’s paradise. A large quantity of animal species and a variety of flora are characteristic of this mangrove ecosystem. Using paddles, not motors, we’ll get a chance to observe the animals without disturbing them and take better pictures.
After paddling for one hour, we’ll snack on some fresh fruit and continue enjoying this beautiful natural environment that is considered an internationally important wetland area (Ramsar site).
Duration: 3 hours approximately
What to bring: strap sandals, sun block, hat, sunglasses
Included: bottled water, fruit juice, naturalist guide, transportation, and single or double kayaks with equipment
